Fire Detection

We have been developing Fire Detection Systems for five system generations and today our systems are regarded to be top of the line. 

Since the product start we have installed more than 25 000 systems in various applications such as NATO submarines, LNG and LPG vessels, Cruise vessels, trains, wind power plants, hospitals, industrial buildings and many more....

The CN System Fire Detection range consists of both single loop detection systems for small and medium size installations to large addressable fire detection systems which besides from detection of fire also can control and indicate vents, ducts, elevators, extinguishing etc.

The module based fire detection system used for large and complex systems is based upon a common platform which is developed from the knowledge and experience from previous generations. This platform is used not only for fire detection systems, but also for gas detection systems and voyage data recorders (VDR).

It’s a common misconception that all Fire Detection Systems are about the same. However, at a deeper assessment, one will find many divergences affecting a number of aspects, from safety of life and property, to the daily operational costs.

The CN System Detection Systems are offered for the land market. The fire detection systems are developed and tested for extreme harsh environments in marine and train applications. The latest generation of system meet todays but also the future demand on an analogue addressable fire detection system.
